Welcome to Vibrant Kids!

As a mom, wife, social worker, kid food chef, & world traveler, I love learning about different cultures and traditions. Every culture shares something in common; preparing special dishes to celebrate holidays with loved ones.

I’ve had the travel bug as long as I can remember. From my first international trip at age 12, to exploring Europe, Central America, North Africa and Asia, I crave so much more of the world than the 22 countries I’ve seen. Sharing my passion of travel with my child is something I’ve been dreaming about my whole life. Well, plane rides usually aren’t a magical dream with a 17 month old, but you get the point.

I’m here to share my favorite global recipes with your family in hopes of sparking curiosity, exploring new flavors and encouraging adventurous little chefs. To me, cooking is a valuable piece of living a vibrant life.

Each month I’ll write about a holiday celebrated in another country paired with a simple traditional recipe to make with your kids. I’ll try my best to keep recipes as simple as possible so your kids stay engaged throughout the process and you’re not stuck in the kitchen for hours. Who am I kidding, I don’t even have the attention span for anything past 20 minutes after chasing a one year around all day!

Cheers to creating delicious adventures and memories with your little ones!
